Synopsis:
There is no plot, all the major studios released great revues at the dawn of the talkies,
parading their brightest stars in front of microphones. Metro's offers some great music
numbers and, of course, Marion Davies doing the cutest musical number in the world:
"Tommy Atkins". Marion's scene uses trick photography in which she plays a
miniature character on an oversized set. She sings and dances with some soldiers, tap
dances and clowns her way through one of the highlights of this film. Marion is also
featured in the final "Singin' In The Rain" Technicolor number.
